Cheap coloured contact lenses?

Hi there,

Does anyone know where I can buy some cheap daily disposable colored contact lenses that don't actually change your eyesight but the colour of your eye?

Is there anything I should know to avoid?

You can get them from most opticians. You can buy them from other places, like online contact lens suppliers, but you will still need an eye examination, contact lens assessment and contact lens prescription, even if you don't need any power in them.

Why would I need an eye examination and stuff if I'm just getting ones that don't change your eyesight?

No, you're right, novelty contacts (which is what you're after) do not need an eye exam etc. But make sure you know how you're putting them in etc as it is tricky if you've never done it before, and you can hurt your eyes/break them fairly easily. Sorry I'm not sure where's cheap, have you tried the usual contacts places listed in Martin's guide?
