Hiya
I just registered for the MSE website, but have got to admit that I have been visiting this site for months and months now-think everyone seems really nice and helpful so wanted to ask this question!
I currently live with my boyfriend and we are soon due to be moving out of our flat to a house - basically as there is not enough room in the flat just now, when we moved my bf wants to start weightlifting again. However, we are going to be on a REALLY tight budget (as jobcentre decided to stop letting me sign on¬ being able to find a job tho I should have a bit of money coming in from selling things on amazon etc).
The only thing i know about weightlifting is about drinking egg whites
Is there any chance one of you lovely people has any advice on menu planning for someone who is weightlifting or building up their muscle strenth etc. etc. Or for anything remotely related? Is it safe even?!
Thankies and sorry for the long rambling post!
xx

Hello and welcome,wee.nic :hello:you
I think people building muscle need a lot of protein, but I didn't listen in home ec so all I can think of is eggs and chicken! I may be potty .but I think beans have it too.
I'm sure a much more knowledgeable peep will be along in a second, but wanted to say welcome and good luck in your new home.0
