Tesco accepting Sun Vouchers for Halfords & Debenhams?

OK I know its a long shot/ somewhat cheeky but if you don't ask ...

Tesco were accepting the £5 off £30 at Morrisons vouchers printed in the Sun newspaper earlier this year. Surprisingly I learned from this website that they also accepted the Sun £5 off £30 at Boots voucher ... today in the Sun is £5 off £25 at Debenhams and £5 off £30 at Halfords.

Anyone know if Tesco plan to accept these or is that a bit much to ask given that they have just doubled the Clubcard points?

Fire Fox, I previously called up their freephone customer careline and asked them to contact the individual store to see if they accepted the Lidl voucher. This was to save me a wasted journey.

You could do the same with the Halfords voucher.

At first I thought - probably no chance - but when you reminded me of the Boots voucher, then I remembered that they do stock Halford-esque items (car stuff, etc), as they do Boots-esque items (such as toiletries).

Well worth a try. They can only say no. If they say yes - then that's a fiver in your pocket.

It might also depend upon whether the individual store really needs the trade - the smaller ones might - or the larger ones might be able to 'mop' up the voucher as good will.
