credit ratings

This is my first posting, my question is:having viewed my credit file on Experian it is noticable that it is littered with old credit aggreements, from morgages to the fridge we had from comit, all are long gone. Is there any point in writing to these credit companys to wipe them off. They have all been paid properly.

In answer to your question... If they were settled within the last 6 years - no. I've never heard of anyone being able to have them removed before the 6 years was up, unless there was an error with them

All credit agreements stay on your file for 6 years.

Credit searches stay on your file typically for 12 months.

    Hope this helps.
