First Direct - process question

Options
Hi all,

I'm wondering what I've forgotten or what's left to do...

In the process of buying a new place...

Applied for a mortgage with first direct...

Application on the phone, application letter in the post with "mortgage offer" to sign and send back....

Survey done awaiting their report..

Solicitor has sent me some docs to sign, which I think are the authority to place first charge on the house....

Now am I right in thinking that as I have had, signed, returned the documents headed "mortgage offer", that all I need is the valuation to agree with the purchase price and I am good to go??

What steps have I forgot...?

Or

what other hold ups could there be??

Cheers
