What i would like to know is do I let the mortgage broker know about my bankrupt status of 7 years ago?

If asked, you have to declare bankruptcy forever, not telling your broker will not help you as the lenders will ask that question of you on the application meaning you are just wasting the brokers time if you withhold the info."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

There are lenders that do not ask the question, relying instead on the credit reference and the solicitors bankruptcy searches. Disclose it to your broker and hopefully they should be able to source you an appropriate deal.0
