PPD free hair dye?

does anyone know of any permanent PPD free hair dyes, without resorting to henna? i've never had an allergic reaction but i've read a few scare stories about people dying their hair with hair dye with PPD in it and having huge reactions, even after the patch test turned out fine _pale_

i've got a few grey stragglers and i need rid of them (!!!!!! - i'm only 24!!) and i dont want to use a henna dye as i know how hard it is to dye over.

You might think so but even ones that sound 'natural' can have PPD in -that's what gets you -just check for paraphenylenediamine in the ingredients list, and even then do a skin patch text 48 hours before use.
I had 1 called Herbatint the other week and it still had PPD in which I reacted to.

I've had 2 major full body allergic reactions from not doing patch tests and several reactions to patch tests.
I was in A&E 3 Xmas ago for such a reaction. My head and face ballooned and whole body itched, scabbed and wept -thought I was going to die -dont risk it!
