Do you want to witness a historic football re-match between two of the biggest football superpowers in the world?
Well, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of England's majestic 1966 sporting victory over Germany, Europe's most formidable football teams are set to clash once again.
A highly-anticipated football event in the run-up to the FIFA 2006 World Cup, England V Germany: The Legends is a charity spectacular that will take place on the 3rd of May 2006 and will be broadcast live on Five.
The England squad, coached by Sir Bobby Robson, includes Paul Gascoigne; Chris Waddle; Graeme Le Saux; John Barnes; Paul Merson; Lee Sharpe; Jamie Redknapp; Ray Wilkins; Chris Woods; Neil Webb; Les Ferdinand and Matt Le Tissier. Alongside the many ex-England footballers taking part are Rugby World Cup winners Lawrence Dallaglio and Matt Dawson; boxing-ace Nigel Benn; cricket player Alec Stewart; musician Richard Ashcroft; and MP and journalist Boris Johnson. Participating actors include Sean Bean, Rupert Graves, Leo Gregory, Danny Dyer and Jason Flemyng.
In the German line-up former 1990 German World Cup winning captain, Lothar Matthaus has been confirmed along with tennis legend and fellow countryman Boris Becker. Ex-international footballers Thomas Helmer; Steffen Freund; Bernd Wehmeyer; and Helmut Haller will also appear, next to musician and Oscar nominee Herbert Gronemeyer.

Thank you very much for the link.. I am on the booking page to book(early father's day pressie!) tickets for my dad, but the code doesn't give me any discount. Does the discount go through once you've clicked 'buy'??
Also, whats a concession? Is that a child up to 16 yrs old?
Any quick replies so i can book would be greatly appreciated!!:D
