Sounds fun, but make sure you take the proceeds to the bank regularly. I used to save spare cash in a piggy bank and a whisky bottle, but unfortunately the burglars took them both. It took ages getting the money back from the insurers and I had to estimate how much was in them both.0

and also not to be a kill joy but the pigs should be emptied as often as possible so that they save on the intrest, my mortgage calculates intrest daily so my pig is going to have an empty stomach quite often.Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

Im such a bad mortgage pig mummy!! She is still black and white with no hole in her. Im useless. I ran out of time and havnt finished her off.
The idea behin the milk bottle top is to cut it as near to the lid as possible and secure to the underneath of the baloon with tape, then put strips of mache around it to hold it in place. Then u can undo it at the bottom to get the money out.
I still havnt worked out how to put a piccy n here so i cant show u what i mean.
Anyway happy piggying and i think im going to finish her this weekend, i feel bad for not doing her now.0
