Kettle Recall

If you have bought a plastic cookworks kettle (cat no's: White 422/5063 or Green 422/5049) before 21st April (and thousands have) then there is now a saftey recall on them which is listed on stores noticeboards. There is a fault which could cause the element to break which can lead to scalding. Please return the kettle(s) back and Argos will issue a refund on it for you. If they don't show them the saftey notice in their store and be firm but polite.

on the subject of kettles and kettle safety, i refunded a delonghi crema kettle recently. i was initially quite impressed (simple things
) that you could vary the length of the cord by winding any excess around a core in the base of the kettle.
the downside is that it is wobblier than the millennium bridge was  and rocks back and forth if you touch it. not ideal if full of boiling water, really :eek:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

I would take it in without anyway. Loads of toys are bought as presents anyway, so no receipt must be quite a common problem. I suspect they'll just give you a refund or offer to swap it for something of the same value.
