I've not done this myself, but here's what it says:

Barnyarns Educational Newsletter & Something for FREE!

In this case there is something for free, a packet of Schmetz Universal Machine Needles and all you have to do is sign up to our highly informative newsletters which contain hints and tips, how dos and special offers.

The Barnyarns Mailing list is a great way to keep in touch with all that is going on in the world of embroidery and quilting.

When you have entered your details and sent the request, you will need to check your emails for our confirmation email, which you will need to click on, then our first newsletter, with a discount coupon to be spent on the site and our article 'Golden Retrievers and Dalmations' all about how to achieve the perfect stitch on the machine will arrive.

It only takes a second, is very informative, with exclusive offers and you can unsubscribe at anytime, no questions asked. (but if you did, you may miss out on offers such as 15% off everything, as we have had in the past!)

Within 14 days, an email will be sent to you with details on how to (very easily) order your free gift.

I don't know if there's gonna be a catch - like you have to place an actual order or something, but if someone out there could make use of some needles then it's worth a go. Here's the link:

Thanks for the effort - still can't get through to that page though! Can get through to the site, but won't let me get through to the free needles, and I've just broken one!! Guess I will just have to keep trying.
