OR Interview

Hi

Received notification of my OR interview today, 26th August. But going to approach this with less nerves than court (I hope).

One thing puzzles me though and that is that they haven't asked for any statements????

Is this normal?

thanks

Good luck FF. My OR didn't ask for any bank statements, just as well coz I didn't have any.

  • I got beautiful bundles of statements and parchment certificates all ready for the OR with duplicate copies for me all tied up with ribbon and they didn't want any on the day... and haven't asked for any since. They probably saw the size of the bundles.

It was the longest 2 3/4 hour telephone call of my life though!

Chin up, nose in the air, you've done the prickly bit and what's left now is just administration. Best advice I can give is to treat the OR very politely, remember that they are human, tell them everything they ask but don't volunteer anything they don't ask (unless it's obviously relevant such as that the tiara you are wearing is real or something).

Remember they know what they're doing, they've done it a million times before and you're there for an interview, not a conversation - so don't worry about silences, you don't have to fill them in.

Fingers crossed for you, not that you'll need it.
