I know we haven't even been declared BR yet, but I have to look at all possibilities to be prepared.
We haven't been paying mortgage for about four months now. They haven't started talking repossesion yet, but just a matter of time. We are completely avare that we will loose the house after BR, just wandering how much time we would be given to find alternative accomodation. Not counting on council to help us, as where we live they are over saturated as it is, so we will most probably have to rent, but I understand we will have to gather the deposit first, and that might take some time, as we will not have too much left even after BR.
Hopefully some of you peeps who have been through that could give me some advice?

I've not been through it but I'm sure someone who has or knows will pop in and answer. Are you able to save anything at the moment towards your deposit and rent? Try approaching estate agents and landlords now to see what they'll want from you e.g. guarantor if your credit rating not good, which it won't be if you file for bankruptcy. Thanks, Iquit, nope we are in no position to save for it now, as we haven't even got the money for the BR fees, hence me and my OH got to go BR a month apart.
Think we should be alright re guarantors though.0
