When you are delayed on the tube, did you realise you can claim back the journey. even on oyster?
My colleague told me this earlier... and I felt the lightbulb ping on. For every journey he gets delayed ( I had a few last week..) he claims. Each one comes back at 2.30. Yes, a bit of a hassle, online easier than doing the forms, it comes back in TFL vouchers which he uses towards his next monthly/ weekly travelcard. On an average week, he gets about a tenner, or 520 a year.
Nice. :T

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Depends on how long the journey is and what zones it goes through - my OH regularly gets £3.80 refunded (he goes from zone 5 - zone 1) and £3.80 is a single ticket. I think the delay has to be 15-20 minutes. You pick up a customer charter form from the tube station.Proud DFW Nerd #62
