Is BR a Cumulative Code

As title, is BR a cumulative code or is it applied only to each individual payment ?

Yes if its BR C.UM (filter wont let me put C.UM in without the full stop lol) then it is a cumulative tax code. If it is BR W1/M1 then no it is not cumulative.0

My coding notice just says BR for the year 09/10 so I assume it will be cumulative which is OK as it is to correct HMRC's earlier !!!! up :mad:
No wonder it costs so much to run the system. 2 phone calls, 8 mailings from them and their time to put things back to where they were (correctly) at the beginning of the tax year, and me being paid £140 short this month which I will get back next. :rolleyes: If it aint broke don't try and fix it cos it only ends in tears !!0
