I thgought that it would be nice to give an update, i do read the forums every morning (over a cup of tea at work!) and my heart really goes out to people, and I help where I can! I read some of the posts and i can really feel from people the pain and distress that BK causes. I have now been BK since Feb 08 and today it is 1 year since my discharge. It all feels like it was so long ago, and, for those that are worried, dont be, life is too short for this to cause as much stress as it does. I am here, out the other end, as are many many other people who post on the forum xx:T

i agree. lifes too short to worry about this sort of thing. BC should be seen as a new start (despite the negativity of it). I'm in a brilliant position now with a lovely family since being made bankrupt and being discharged. Best move I ever made in terms of getting my life back on track!!On the Keyboard of Life - Always Keep a finger poised over the Esc Key! :rotfl:0

I agree. Thank you. I was BR on Monday and i'm struggling with relief, anger at the whole banking/borrowing/greed system, embarrassment of having this personal strike on my life and feeling foolish for thinking that I had to borrow more and more money just to pay money back.
I've read so much about how BR constantly throws problems in life with insurances jumping on the bandwagon and getting away with charging silly prices or cancelling policies on the grounds of BR.
Ive gone from being stressed, worried and ashamed to feeling anger, embarrassment (there goes the phone, I will ignore.. wish the OR would hurry up and tell them to leave me damn alone!!) and scared of it biting me in the bum throughout my life.
So again, thank you for letting us know that it really is ok 'on the other side' x0 -
Pleasure - I know how hard I found it, and it really is really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it is there and it does get better :beer:0
