in Cutting tax
just been made redundant get p45 tomorrow do I have to hand this in when signing on? How can I claim overpayment in tax back as I could be out of work months?

Yes, you will need to hand your P45 to the JC but you cannot claim a tax refund as your JSA is taxable and needs to be taken into account when calcualting any refund. The refund will be made when you sign off, or at the end of the tax year (by the JC), whichever comes first.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
