Hello,
Standard life has offered me compensation of £918.06
This offer has been made with me providing no more details than the form that Martin encouraged us to complete - Thanks Martin.
I would like some help as to what to do now.
Does this sound a fair offer - I have 2 weeks to decide.
They have based it on the FSA guide. Also if the floatation goes ahead I will also get 265 shares to boost the piggy bank.
Sum assured 9213.00
Surrender value ( excl compo) 4472.65
Amount that would have been paid if repayment loan taken out 5135.39
Monthly premium 31.86
Start date 01/1995
Maturity date 01/2011
Projected amounts Low 6260 Med 6820 High 7420
Many thanks

Hi josey
I suggest you do absolutely nothing apart from accepting the offer and banking the compo money and waiting till you receive the free shares in July.
After that you can review whether you should surrender the policy.Trying to keep it simple...0 -
So you'll pay £6117.12 in premiums should you see it through to the end. Medium value gives just under 9% return on that. That's before including any possible demutualisation entitlement if Standard Life go plc. Just remember to use your vote!MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515
MFW 2014 #41 = £26,100/£25,000
MFW 2013 #41 = £10,000/£10,000
Original MF date = May 2036 - MF achieved on 15 June 20150 -
can someone post a
link to the form please.0 -
