Im not marreid but am living with girlfiend and son , im currently in 25k debt myself , we have a joint overdraft of 2.5k and she has an overdraft of £600.
she is unemployed but im earning for us both
Im going bankrupt but i dont think its woth her doing it ? altho i think the 2.5k overdraft will be full passed onto her i think , that will be hard for us to pay off and lloyds have not passed it onto balifs
is it best to find the extra money to both go bankrupt so we have a clean slate ?

If someone had asked me the simplest question about BR a week ago I would have looked as them as if they had just landed.

remember to do it as if you have gone BR - i.e. you will have no unsecured debts, and if you have a house you intend to hand back then you will have no secured debts and any shortfall will be included.
