I have a Beaver Whirler 5' tall jelly bean machine to get rid of. The machine costs over £500 new and was only used for a marketing event by my company.
Does anyone have any good ideas of how I could make a few quid on thsi? It's too big to e-bay, it'd never go in the post!
All suggestions welcomed!

You can still stick it on Ebay, just put "Buyer collects"(".)0

If it is a company machine that just needs getting rid of i.e. they don't want to make a profit from it - perhaps it could be used to loan to local schools for discos, fetes etc for their fundraising? The smallest deed is greater than the grandest intention ~ Anonymous0

My company were going to bin it! For the school was my original intention, but it doesn't take money, it's on free vend, so they would have to buy the coin machine bit, which is how you buy these things anyway apparently, you choose the coin type you are going to charge. School don't really want to lay out the cash, and our school have got very anti sweets!
So, I wondered if I could sell it?0 -

Local Auction? Do you mean an auction room, like on 'cash in the attic' or something?
Don't know of one locally, but I'll have look through the local phone book. I'm in Carshalton Surrey if anyone knows of an auction house near me?0
