Loan for Home Improvements??
We moved into our new house last May and during the winter realised that we needed a new boiler and the windows are poorly fitted letting in terrible draughts.
We have now been quoted for both jobs and need a loan of 5K - we bank (and have our mortgage) with HBOS however a personal loan of 5K with them we need to pay back 6.5K.
Can anyone recommend somewhere else to try for a loan, spotless credit history so no issues with credit rating.
