Nil Tax Code

Do they generally only do this for those with less than £99 surplus a month or could they do it for anyone? With my current surplus they'd only take around £83 a month as part of an IPA so it would make more sense for them to impose a Nil Tax code. How do they decide who gets them and who doesnt?

As far as im aware they do it if you pay over £50 a month in tax. It will last until either the end of the tax year or until you change your job.

I went BR in Jan and did not get a NT tax code as not enough time to get it up an running.

The NT IPA is completely seperate from a surplus IPA. So you can have the one or the other or both.

Have a read of the first post in the Bankruptcy Help sticky there is loads of useful links and info on that thread.
