Staples one seems fine. Bought one just before Christmas to replace my strip cut shredder. Bin is a bit smaller but that doesn't matter as cross cut shredders chop the paper up into smaller bits anyway so you don't need to keep compacting the contents down so often. The input paper sensor appears to be optical rather than the more normal plastic finger type which is nice and the motor runs for a few seconds after the paper has gone through, presumably to clear the cutters. User guide says not to use it for more than one minute continuous running at a time so it's not exactly "industrial" but good enough for most domestic use. Dunno about durability but it's got a 12 month guarantee so at 9.99 it seemed a good deal.
Retired so trying to save even more!
