damage to property - not yet repossessed, what to do?

I moved out of my mortgaged flat 5 months ago, post BR, letting the mortgage company know that I was stopping payments and that they should go ahead with repossession. I have still not been officially repossessed, and I pop by every month or so just in case there is stray mail. The flat is empty of all property.
So, to my horror, I swung by last night only to discover that the patio door to the property had been smashed. I stopped all insurance on the property when I left so my question is what should I do?
I haven't been able to sleep all night worrying about this. It's a large double glazed patio door and I am not in a financial position to pay for a repair.
Any suggestions?
Hope evryone is well

Dont worry about it, they will eventually re-possess sell at at a stupid price no matter what condition it is in, the debt will then be included in the BR, although I would make sure it is secure and no one can get in.0
