Threadless $8 sale

Threadless the legendary American T-shirt store are having another sale - there's some $8 but most are $10.
Basic shipping to the UK is $15.
Beware customs - if you order more than £26 of t-shirts (I think) then you will be liable to pay customs/VAT charges. My last order was $63 and I had to pay £12 when they arrived a couple of weeks later.
They are great quality t-shirts, that you will never see anyone else wearing - well worth it I think (I have some that are 3 years old and still look new)!:j:j:j

Had threadless t-shirts for a while. Whilst the designs are unique and quirky, the quality of these shirts is not fantastic. They DO last if you take care of them, but the fabrics and prints aren't the best.
(cheers for the heads up though, off to have a look and see if there's anything I fancy)"The future needs a big kiss"0 -
Maybe I'm used to cheaper t-shirts, but I have found that my (15+ I'm sure) Threadless T-shirts are at least above average in quality. Some of the more heavily work ones have got a bit 'bally' maybe but certainly no worse than any other.0

and just to warn people
CUSTOMS FEE'S!!!!!!
After every threadless sale many people get hit with charges
you have been warned0 -
Ones from a couple of years ago are really good quality, but recent adult ones are very thin material. Kids ones that I ordered at the same time seem to be as good quality as the old ones?
On Threadless kids ones, the sizes are strangely small (if you believe in the stereotype) got age 5 for my largish (but not fat) 3 and a half year old and I’ll be lucky if it still fits by Christmas. Likewise with my 6 year old, a British age 7-8 (asda/tesco) size fits him fine - a threadless age 8 barely covers him.
Oh and on the customs fees for the P&P, they are only supposed to include the portion of the P&P costs that occur in the UK. (i.e. from port of entry to your door) - 'supposed' being the operative word!!!
My last lot came from a depot in Holland - so Threadless may be using that as a get around for the customs charge. All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0 -
Thanks for this.
I've ordered from Threadless many times in the past and customs fees are only based on items bought. Post and packaging can be as high as you like as long as goods are under £18 (about 30US$ at the moment) you shouldnt get any extra charges.0
