How can I get rid of smell?

Hi there,

Hope someone can give me a tip. I brought a material tye dyed belt from River Island but it stinks of wee. I can only think this is because of the dye that has been used. I put frebreeze on it but still smells.

Any tips please? It's a gorgeous belt that I want to keep but too scared to wear incase everyone thinks I've done something I haven't! :-(

  • You could may be sprinkle over a little bicarb (on the underside possibly in case it leaves a mark). I know this works on things like trainers and if you have a smelly fridge, a pot of it in there does the trick - hope this helps.

If it is fabric - try soaking it in white vinegar and then let it dry.

often hanging something on or near a source of heat, like a radiator, or in an airing cupboard, helps to disperse smells on things.
