Being bullied by CSA

I owe arrears to the csa through no fault of myown. The calculation they did was wrong and i sent them a letter 2/3 weeks ago explaining this.I also sent the correct information they needed.I have taken advice off here and am only contacting them by letter now.
Today i received a letter saying i have to pay them £80 now.If they don't hear from me within 5 days they will start setting a DEO/CCJ,many other things are outlined in the letter to get the money.
I am trying to work with the CSA to sort out THERE mistake but it's becoming hard to do.
How can i respond in time to there demands without phoning them? They want me to pay arrears that are incorrect.Do i wait for them to act on my letter sent 2/3 weeks ago?I'm at a loss as to what to do.
The last phone call i had with them ended with the CSA trying to blame ME for THERE mistakes! Then they have the cheek to do this.So much for working to benefit all parties concerned.
Thanks for any help.

I'd pay the £80, but definitely through a standing order and in no-way must you give your bank details.
Asking for your Data Protection files is an absolute must.0 -
I should maybe of explained better but £80 is just the start of it.They have me owing thousands and this £80 is this months short fall.So if i pay this the same will happen next month i guess.
I got a letter saying i owed all these arrears which is wrong. The next letter said i had AGREED to pay x per month, which is also wrong.
Before getting the second letter i had sent payslip, etc to help correct there errors. So i thought it would be sorted.Dont look like it! They've either ignored my letter or the left hand does'nt know what the right hand is doing.0 -
Is the £80 from the arrears or your current assessment that you've fell behind on?
They have guidelines on the time frame (2years) so the most you can pay back over two years at £80 per month is £1,920, surprised they are only asking for £80.
In regards to arrears, they have a long process to go through, it sounds as if though, no lIability order in place or court date, so time is on your side, I would suggest NaCSA who are very good in these type of situations0 -
Contact your MP and ask him/her to help you.0
