The seal on my door has been a little cracked - but been that way for a few years - I didn't think this would be the problem - but possibly. But yes - have got the dial turned up/down to the highest/lowest setting. i.e. where it's at the least cool setting before turning off. But the dear little thing is still eager to make everything as cold as possible as quickly as possible...

One thing i read was to vacuum all the dust from the back of the fridge freezer - all the element type bits. Didn't make much of a difference to us, but may to some others...
  • My fridge ices up at the back but I am sure I read (in the manual) that this is normal behaviour, obviously freezing food is not!!

Is it because they are 'frost free' ? I had an american style frost free and i remember the engineer saying it was the 'heating element' that had gone when mine had a similar problem.
