Right to Buy

Options
I’m thinking about applying to purchase my flat from the council. I know that if I were to sell the property within the first five years of buying it I’d have to pay back the discount I’ll receive, but I was wondering if there was any reason why I couldn’t buy it and then rent it out straight away. Any thoughts?

I hope so. Without wanting to sound preachy, that wasn't what the right to buy was intended for.
