which job?

Currently working 20hrs in a retail position, the people are nice but I don't connect well with them, the woork is boring with real a rush at the end of the shift when everything has to be done, I have just got this job a few weeks ago.

Another job has come through, it is full time and slightly more pay, the job is highly stressful though and seems much more demanding (however is even MORE monotanous then retail). They phoned me and said I'd have to work in the evenings up till Midnight now rather then the daytime shift. I do not drive so getting home is awkward, as is the time, I don't want to be working so late. I also doubt my abilities, and if I don't pass probation period I will be left with no jobs at all!

What would you guys do, I would say I have a couple of weeks at most to make a decision about this second job

Thanks

  • I would stick with the retail job mainly due to the transport issue that you have mentioned.

doesnt sound like you want the second job so I say the first one!
The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese
  • Yeh, because working full time kinda sucks, PLUS the shifts are Sun-Thurs 4pm-12am so that means I don't even have a proper weekend!

    I dunno
  • do you need the money? can you handle the additional pressue? will the extra £s not be eaten up with transport costs? Only you can decide but you sound more at ease with job 1 so i would stay with that, plus less transport issues, less pressure, more weekend!
