Paying moon beevers

Hi everyone,
I know I should ring them but thought i would just check here first as to whether there is any other way to pay these beever characters other than bloody standing order, cheque  (i should be so lucky) or postal order??
Has anyone asked if they can accept debit/prepay credit card?
Thanks

    Hi pmg

You need to call & ask....I thought standing order or cheque was only way. You could ask for bank details ( they are on standing order) & pay via online banking....make sure you quote a reference though.

Hi Angie :hello: and thanks for that. I will give them a call in the morning before I go all the way to the post office and pay £10.00 for a £250 postal order

Make sure you put your reference number, name & address on the back of the PO....saves problems later.

Well what a saga. Everythng I do seems to turn into a drama!!
I went all the way down to the post office (7 miles away) to get a p/order for £236 for bloody moonbeever and the young (very young) lad behind the counter looked at me like i had gone barmy when i asked for p/o payable to moon beever:p He said pardon a few times and I was describing "moon" as in the night sky and "beever" well I didn't quite know how to describe that one . I was rushing as usual and so paid over the cash (plus £10 p/o fee!!) and then legged it cos he went into one trying to sell me life insurance:mad:.
I got in the car and went home absolutely boiling and knackered and got out the p/o to get ready to send and the lad had made payable to moon and beever.
I then had to go all the way back to get it changed and then he still had the cheek to start the life insurance sell on me again. needless to say I checked the p/o and then made a quick exit.
Wouldn't you think that you could just pay this by debit card online or on phone. I certainly don't want a standin order as unpaid s/o's contributed to gettin us in this mess in the first place with bloody bank charges. Obviously I don't have a cheque book  so looks like I am stuck with the weekly trip to the post office

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Hi pmg.....thankyou for making me smile this evening!!:T:T:D:D

If you have online banking then make a payment online ( bank sort code & account number are on every standing order) . I have had trouble getting a creditors details so when they sent me the form I just used the bank details & sent them their payment....with reference of course.

A PO will be costing you every time you get one.....could be money spent elsewhere.

Made me laugh too - the name "Moon Beever" really inspires confidence. But only if you were trying to buy "adult novelties"... :rotfl:
