The most failsafe way, IME to keep t tidier and stuff paired are little draw string/ribbon bags....can make them up very quickly out of damaged clothes/pretty fabric....colours for coloured stuff, whites for whites etc. That way if you don't hand wash you can also shove them through the washing machine in the bag*. I have so many little bags.....you have to be disciplined and put them bag n the bag once dry though....atm life is too undisciplined for me
*because all MSE fashionisti know not to wash bras/boned corsetry etc in the machine not in a bag, right?
the cost if the wires work loose and in a machine can be significant, as well as ruining the underwear. 0 -

No way, he was soooo young!
On a monetary note, suppose that makes the amazing Alexander McQueen leather bra I picked up for £3 at a car boot sale even more valuable? Still not parting with it even though its 3 sizes too big.0
