Lose weight by wearing a stick-on patch?

Found this site and was wondering if anyone has heard of it or tried it? It claims that you can lose wight by wearing a patch (bit like a nictotine patch I guess) which boost metabolism and controls appetite. Yeah I know the concept sounds ridiculous....but what about patches that help you stop smoking?? Nicotine patches do not work for everyone, but they are a good aid in helping you stop....

They're available on prescription because they actually work to deal with withdrawal symptoms from a chemical addiction when the user actually ceases all consumption. Not something to make calories disappear, or change appetite instantly, or to melt fat away, or whatever it is they claim the sticky plasters do this week.

Oh, and nicotine patches are only able to deal with overall craving, they don't touch the behavioural side of smoking, or the particular 'i want a ciggie - NOW) feeling, so they aren't the be all and end all of smoking cessation, anyway. And that is said as an ex-smoker.

I hear what you're saying, but I'm quite open minded about things. Call it naive if you wish! Who would have thought 100 years ago, that mankind would be able to produce a pill that stops/reduces your chances of becoming pregnant.

What, you mean if I pop this little pill in my mouth, it will stop me from being pregnant?? You liar! Everyone knows that you should have sex standing up to stop pregnancies!

The only way to increase metabolism is to burn calories and that is done by exercise . It is simple physics. burn more than you put in get lighter. If you dont exercise any extra burning will mean you run a fever.
It is nothing like a nicotine patch which as Jojo says has very little success anyway.

Thanks AB. If the OP is determined to be separated from his/her money, I think they should have the right to do so. But even then, they should be aware that the contraceptive pill is also a licensed medicine, unlike the sticky plaster of suggestibility!

Well, there are other methods of speeding up metabolism than doesnt involve physical exercise! Going to the sauna, drinking water and eating more protein foods can all boost metabolism rates. True, not to the extent of strenuous regular exercise but these methods do have an effect. Controlling your appetite by eating a regular breakfast of high fibre cereal with fruit is also possible. Website aside, do you think it could be possible than mankind could ever invent such a thing that compresses all these effect in an 'all in one' item? I do.

I was attracted by the free trial offer to be honest But you should always be open minded about everything in life! It wasnt that long ago, that people used to think the earth was flat. I might just give it a go and report back with the results!
