Alternative to Whiskas?

Hi
My cats are adament that they will eat only Whiskas.
I've managed to wean them off the pouches and onto tins, but I know there is cheaper cat food out there.
Its just my two turn they're noses up at the Asda brand, to the point where they won't eat at all and it goes off.
Has anyone out there found something similar to Whiskas but not so pricey?
Thanks

My 3 cats are picky too and they will either have Whiskas or Kitekat...don't even try them on anything else, as like yours they turn their nose op and walk off...0

Hi
When I got mine from the cats home they were fed Kitekat.
They get Sainsbury's own brand now and seem happy with it !
I've got 3 cats so 12 cans for £50 -
Hi,
When I got my cat she was on Whiskas pouches too but I decided to change to Whiskas cans in jelly only as gravy she licks it off and leaves the chunks. She will occasionally eat Felix.
Good Luck0 -
Mine used to be a whiskas only cat, it took a long time to wean her off it and i tried at first with tins which meant that i was wasting tons of food as she just wouldn`t eat it.
I put her back on pouches and bought lots of different ones, if she wouldn`t eat one it wasn`t too much to waste, eventually she got around to eating all the different ones and i could get back onto tins.
When i buy the tins by the time i`m getting down to the last quarter i think that she is getting a bit fed up with it but the next tin that i open will be completely different so we go round in circles but it ends up costing much less.
I do still buy pouches too but ONLY when they are on offer for a change.
She will now eat felix, kitecat, most supermarket own brands and classic cat food.( she prefers Morrisons Mycat) and the odd tin of tunaI can now buy what ever is on offer as long as i don`t open the same brand or flavour too often.
It took ages to do this and it wasn`t cheap to do but now the savings are good so it was worthwhile.
Oh and she will only eat food in jelly. Hates the gravy chunks but likes the gravy too:rolleyes:
Good luck
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
I have made a problem with my 3 on wet food. Always used to wolf down Asda or Morrisons but due to a super offer on Whiskas and buying 3 months worth they are being super picky. Will now only eat pouches very annoyed. Only saving grace is any pouch will do!
They always win!0 -
Look at the meat (or fish) content in the ingredients......0
