Due to my disability i am currently on oxygen waiting for a lung transplant. I have no arrears on my mortgage payments however unfortunately i am unable to pay the monthly payments on my secured loan i currently have with Black horse finance. They are aware of my severe health issue's however the only communication i receive from them is in the form of sheriff officers. I received a letter from them this morning informing me they will evict me from the property next week.
Can anyone please offer me some urgent advise!!!!

Hi gerryscot and welcome! I'm not sure what agencies work in scotland but try Citizens Advice Bureau or similar. They should be able to go through everything with you over the phone.
If you have any particular questions please feel free to ask here. There are some posters familiar with procedures in scotland. Is that the only debt you are concerned about?

The Lawyer from Shelter attended the Sheriff Court Yesterday and sorted things out. I amazed that they were able to deal with it so quickly and also at how supportive and helpful they were. They are an absolutely amazing organisation and do a superb job at helping people deal with desperate state of affairs .
I am currently looking into the Scottish governments mortgage to shared equity scheme, which will give me the opportunity after two years to buy back the % of equity the government take over. Hopefully I will have had my lung transplant by then and be able to commence some form of employment again.
I have a couple of credit card debts that i am currently trying to negotiate with the companies to freeze the interest and charges. (any suggestions regarding this would be most appreciated)
Thank you very much for your advice and kindness.x x

Good news for you gerryscot. Regarding negotiating with the companies to freeze interest payments there is a link on here somewhere but I'm not sure where - if you pop over to the DFW board someone there is sure to have the answer for you.
Thanks for the update and I hope your new lung arrives soon!
Keep us posted.
