I received an email which I assume is due to me entering this competition here:

The email is as follows, but no mention of an Audi

Hi Sushi Izakaya opens in the heart of Covent Garden’s Opera Quarter this summer, offering traditional Japanese food with modern twists and classic cocktails in a serene, stylish interior. Set over an open plan of three floors, opposite Theatre Royal, the newest addition to the lively area is a lush, understated escape in the city, offset with dark oak and bamboo that takes on the appearance of a Japanese Zen garden complete with floor-to-ceiling waterfall.
To celebrate the launch of Hi Sushi Izakaya, Geoffrey Leong and family would like to invite you and a guest on 18th August from 6pm until 8.30pm to try the classic cocktails and traditional Japanese food with modern twists prepared by Executive Chef Eric Fu and his team.

Did anyone else who entered get this?

Are they just trying to get numbers through the door?

They do ask me to reply to the email to confirm that I will attend.

Guess I'll have to email them back tomorrow and ask if it is a separate promotion.

Hi Mark,

I got this invite too, I figured they'd just used the email addresses from the comp to get people to the launch event - these things are usually a good chance for a few free drinks and nibbles, so why not RSVP? :-)

I got this email, too and didn't realise it was something to do with a comp I'd posted :rolleyes:

I have accepted and they have confirmed it is a freebie. They also asked for the name of my business. Maybe see a few MSErs there!
