Altoids - Mints in a Tin

Here's a question. Given that all information points to these little mints being made in the UK (wrigleys? kraft? Cheltehham?) but primarily sold in America, has anyone seen them for sale in the UK? [Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altoids Wikipedia hints a little on why they might not actually be made in the UK anymore. Hrmmm. Still!]
I know about the M&S Curiously Strong mints, which are effectively the same, but Altoids do a Wintergreen flavour and I was specifically wanting to find them and maybe Spearmint too...
There are a few online sweet shops in the UK but most of them charge about £3-4 a tin and the same for P&P which is far too much and don't seem to have them in stock anyway.
It's annoying as I was just in America but only recently remembered about them after eating a Wintergreen flavoured Jelly Bean. Darn.
Anyone seen them in shops in the UK? Cheers.

I'm sure I've bought them over here before - (white coloured tin, with a red trim, right - and a picture of a mint plant on it?)
From Tescos, or Home Bargains I think...but just the one variety...0 -
my dad lives off them I think. I take all his emtpy tins cos they're so useful. um...i could ask him where he gets them if you want?August grocery challenge: £50
Spent so far: £37.40 :A0 -
I think they sell them at an independent chemist in town. I'll check next time I'm in.0

A quick search on ebay brings up a few with £1.50 p&p £3.50 a tin (I've never heard of them before so I've no idea if that's a high price:o )
A few different flavours0 -
Plenty on Ebay if you can`t find them locally.0
-
My local Morrisons stock them0

I've got a tin in my handbag but they were bought in Florida at the start of the year, sorry that doesn't help you much!0

Waitrose sell them. We get through quite a few tins in a year though so I've resorted to ebay as it's cheaper, but Waitrose does in an emergency!
No we're not mint addicts (well actually I suppose we are) but I sing in a choir and believe it or not they are the ideal mint to eat while singing! Most other mints (esp polos) are far too spitty0 -
As Muz says, Morrisons stock them, at least they do in the 2 stores nearest me, I have also seen them in various petrol stationsMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
