Help Please, need a resonable priced family potrait photgrapher, Glasgow Area?

Hi Everyone,

I've just had twins and have a 3year old boy. I would love to get a professional portrait of them together, though the majority of family portrait companies I google, and the ones you see in shopping centres e.g. Venture, cost a lot of money to get a couple of prints.

I called Mothercare in Anniesland as they have the PixiFoto studio in there, and they said the minimum package price is £100 for 5 photos!

Can anyone recommend anyone else in the Glasgow/Renfrewshire Area?

One of my neighbours does photography. A few of my friends and I have had a couple of portraits done and she does a very good job.

Her prices are very reasonable and she has a mobile studio if you want the shots done in your own home.

we had our first child little over a year ago and have a lot of family abroad so we have been looking for a good photographer to use to send out regular updates to the fam.

When harry was 3 months we hired a photographer to come out to the house. her prices seemed very reasonable and although some of pictures were great i wasn't happy with the quality of them.

we then tried venture and this time it was the other way around as the pictures and quality were very good but far too expensive! i mean like wow expensive

eventually we heard that we already had vouchers from our bounty pack to use at pixifoto so we went along to there studio in the anniesland mothercare.

I appreciate they aren't the cheapest but in the long run we couldn't have been happier with them. the guy taking our pictures was great with harry and we got a really good variety of venture like pics for a fraction of the price. we got a 10*12 photo for free where as venture wanted to charge us over a hundred pounds for that! i ended up spending 200 pounds and that got me a lot of pictures, enough for all the family and a couple large prints to put on our wall.

if you have a child under 2 i would certainly recommend them if only to claim your free pic but for anyone else in a similar situation as we are and want fun pictures updated regularly id give them a try.
