I agree with you some of the other boards can be pretty scary:eek:. It's very sad to see fellow MSErs being so rude and unhelpful. I hope you have recieved some helpful answers to your question.

Unfortunately, there are always going to be people in every walk of life who enjoy being rude and nasty to others and people who constantly put others down to try and make themselves feel better or superior.

The good thing is that there are far more decent and helpful users on here who are able to use their skills and experience to give very good advice.

So next time you come across one of these keyboard warriors attacking people from behind a computer screen, just ignore them or hit the abuse button and don't give them the attention they are seeking.

I'm so sorry you had a horrible experience - I don't tend to post elsewhere on the forum because some of the replies I've read to other posts have made me sooooo angry that I wanted to wring the necks of the authors.

I hope that the majority are trolls - if not, the world is in a sad state.

Just for the short term, would you know any campers, who may be able to lend you their camping cooker while you find your feet again. Also I'd keep an eye on any local car boots and free ads, even Ebay for reasonablely priced bits. Good luck, xxx

Hi Rainy I just read your thread. What a nasty post she made. Obviously suffers from a chip on the shoulder and a bad case of sour grapes.

Maybe she should suck a lemon too it might sweeten her up a bit lol.

There is some good advice on the thread as well. Hope you get a decent cooker and the help you deserve.

Like the others I rarely go to any of the other parts of the forums as some people have holier than thou attitudes and like to talk down to others.

The comping forum is such a nice place with friendly natives. I would stick to here in future and maybe someone on here could help with queries.
