mortgage on small holding

hi there,
does anyone know of a high street lender who would be good to use for a mortgage on a small holding consisting of 17 acres to be used as a main residence, has small cottage in grounds, no agricultural ties and no intention of farming any part of the land.

I know that youa re fairly new on here but it is probably just best to add to this thread as there seems to be a fair amount of information in here.

I am sure Andrew has been very busy so that is why he may not have replied. The best way to source a broker is through personal recommendation from the people you trust.

Where abouts in the country are you, maybe someone on this forum will have some experience/knowledge of local brokers to you
