85% LTV mortgage deals??

  • Hiya, you are right and i realise this also, i did that calculation and we would save £36,000 over 25 years, my husband is still not keen on putting our savings in, even though we will be left for enough in case of emergencies. And our savings are in an isa making no interest.

I dont think i explain it to him very well, and he is looking in the short term, that we only save around £2500 on our mortgage over 2 years.

I am having my house valued tomorrow by natwest mortgage people as i have applied for one with them, but that depends on how high my house is valued and i think we over estimated. So hopefully when we know what they value it, we can move on from there.

    Thanks for your help

A good compromise if you don't want to reduce the mortgage directly.

I have one myself. Works well.
