I'm not 100% sure about this so apologies if its not correct
I don't know if your advance includes any NI contributions or not.
If it doesn't then you received 542 £ after tax, so the total paid as an advance is approx £678.00
If your HR deptartment has told your correctly and your are on 647L cumulative then the tax paid (£136.00) will be refunded in the next pay run and no tax will be liable for this pay period, (until the end of August)
Because you won't be quite earning a full months wages this month then the amount of tax due at the end of September I quoted before will be slightly less, but should be approximately right after that (221.00 per month)
I should have said that the deductions do not include any National Insurance contributions, I only have a rough knowledge of their systems so hate to calculate those.He's not an accountant - he's a charlatan0
