:oI'm still confused, OH went BR on the 7th of August, had his phone call with OR yesterday, all went well, just waiting the outcome now, but it looks like finally something might be going our way :j
Anyway, we had a joint account, only for a few months while we thought we could still manage all our debts, this has an OD of £300 and is currently at £380OD with £22 charges going on every week or so, plus returned DD charges. I know I'm going to have to accept some of this debt, if not all of it! I've just checked online and the bank account has not yet been frozen, so the charges are still being added, what should I do? I don't want it to get to the maximum of £450 OD, and then them tell me I've got to pay it all back, and I'm worried that if I try and pay anything off of it they'll just put on loads more charges or try to claim direct debits. I have no income, so will have to try and clear it gradually out of whatever OR leaves us with. Any advice?

Unfortunately the whole of the OD will now fall to you to pay. Please don't rely on the bank freezing the account, they won't because they know you are solely liable for it now. You relaly need to contact them and make arrangements to start paying back and ask them if they can stop the charges.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
