early discharge

anyone know if these are still happening at the moment and what the general time frame for people getting ED is.. im coming up for 4 months and wondering if its on the cards before christmas ...

    You'll never know if its your turn.

    The quickest here has been 5 and half months. But that was back in the days of more or less quiet on the BR front. Lots get ED and lots go all the way.
  • If the OR is considering an early discharge you will be sent an IPAQ form so the OR can assess your current Income and Expenditure just incase an Income Payment Agreement is possible.

    If you haven;t received one of these you may want to ohone them just after 6 months to ask them if it is possible.

    ED will become very rare - they are done in the quieter moments.

    Don't phone them to ask, it's not a guarantee and constant phone calls about possiblity of ED are annoying and can slow things down;
