Hello,

I am in desperate need of help. My credit rating is bad and I really need a loan of about £1000 to pay off some urgent bills. I have tried Loan Finder and got turned down by Financial Plus. Can anyone offer me any advice or suggestions? High APR is fine but I cannot afford to pay any fees etc. Advice would be greatly appreciated as I cannot get a loan with my own bank hence looking further afield.

Have you thought about credit union, you might be able to find some information on this site. Do you have to borrow the money? any friends/family that could help? If you take a loan will you be able to afford repayment if APR extremely high!

Thanks for your reply. Yes - I do have to borrow the money. Friends & family arent in a position to help hence I am really searching for a solution. If I get the loan, I will be able to cope with the high apr. Not ideal but this is the only way I can handle the problem. Thanks again for the advice.

Do you mean household bills? If so you will find it pretty impossible to get a reputable lender to borrow you money to pay bills you've had difficulty paying. They see this as how are you going to be able to keep up repayments on a loan plus more of the same bills when you struggled before the loan was set up. Apologies if its not household bills and am barking up the wrong tree...
