avi/mpeg splitter needed

I've been looking for a avi/mpeg file splitter download on the internet without any joy.I'm looking for a free download, but the only free ones i've come across can only split files into 2 minutes (as they're usually just on trial etc).
Does anyone know of any free download splitters so i can split movie files into more than 2 minutes worth?
