Education means $$$s

Or pounds (which on my american keyboard i dont have one lol)

I am finally in a position to My first MCP from a financial perspective so am starting to do some hardcore revision to make sure i pass it.
Bad news is each of these exams are around 100+ a piece and thats after ive found a site which does certificates to do them cheaper

Also need to find 210 quid to do my last uni module after a failure in one exam left me 10 credits short of my HND

At least i know my money is being well spent, and i need to do these things to get anywhere in my profession, but its not cheap

Oh well payday next friday and im still 250 up from my target balance in my A&L account

I was wondering whether you could get any help from your employer with your fees. Some employers do have schemes for this. Might be worth a try.
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Its true Kevicho education does mean £££ but it means it back the other way too. I went back to work after having my kids on a salary of £7775 in 1993. I decided to go back to study & since I qualifed (as an accountant ) I am now on more then 5 times that (in 13 years). Trust me, its worth the effort, just doesnt always seem to be.

    Good luck

    Im currently a contractor

Have had a look for perminant positions and when i mention this at the interviews most employers seem keen that im doing them by myself, not so keen as to help me out

I completely agree, lack of money is whats held me back from doing exams and training in the past, not a lack of ability

Only myself to blame, but i sometimes wish i had rich parents (or any for that matter) to cough up some cash to help me out

I would love to go back and do some extended qualifications. I was unable to do so after my degree because of my sons illness and disablities and now when i have a bit more flexibility in time i don't have the money

Nearly had a heartattack just looking at some of the costs.

    Maybe someday.

Just out of interest which company have you found to do MCP with?? Im Head of ICT at a school in Barnsley and my Network Manager has looked at doing some course which I think from memory is similar. She found somewhere that was loads cheaper than where we have gone before in Sheffield.

When you say you are a contractor what do you do?? And your HND what is it in?? Not being nosey, school is looking for someone to do some freelance development work (web development, etc) really struggling to find someone, dunno if you would be interested or if you know anyone who would be.

PM me if you like :)

    Cheers
