In March i was hit by a car and am now unable to do my job as a health care assistant with nhs due to pain which i have been told will last up to a year. I was put on a temporary placement doing auditing but i have told my manager and human resources that this job causes me too much pain to do full time. I have been off work for the last 4 weeks due to depression caused by the accident and work and when i get back to work i will be having a meeting with human resources. I have a feeling my manager will want to get rid of me as she knows i cannot do my proper job for a year and she is still paying me in my temporary role. What grounds would she have to sack me? And what would happen if she did? Any help much appreciated thanks
