If i own only property and it's rented out and i go bankrupt
what happens to the property if it's in negative equity?
does it get left rented to pay the secured loan
or do the tenants get turfed out and it sold?
i do have children etc.

There is CCCS and CAB who may be able to tell you (stickies at the top of the forum have the contacts for them. Also, what about trying for one of those free half hours with a solicitor? Or are you in on of the landlords associations, like www.landlords.org.uk or www.rla.org.uk There might be some info on their site?
Good luck

Hi all
I'm a newbie here but been lurking round for a while-it's a great site with some great people posting. I'm interested in any answers to this question as my hubby own's two rented properties (buy to lets) and they're running at a good profit but our unsecured debts are playing havoc with our minds!!!!! And we're looking at going BR as one of our options.
