A cheap treat for DFW's!

Hi, I just thought I'd let people know about a cheap treat which I occasaionally allow myself- I know it gets tough sometimes! I'm a big magazine junkie and rationed myself to one a week with my new budget (a big cut down!). Last month though I bought a magazine subscription instead. It meant that I saved 50% off the cover price and also got this gorgeous Benefit make-up set worth £45!

This one was Instyle magazine. I think that this time they've got Elemis skincare. All of the magazines have similar offers though, it just depends on what kind of thing you like. Eg Now magazine did 40% off with a lovely range of showers gels and shampoos etc from that Original Source range a couple of weeks ago. It's lovely when the postman knocks with a nice treat along with the usual bills etc!

There is a whole thread in the 'Shop but don't drop' section about magazine subscriptions. It lists the special offers, freebies, cheaper ones etc. It's definately worth a look at and regularly because some of the offers are only open for a short while or have limited number of free gifts. Some of the magazines are available through the cash back sites so you save a few more pennies that way.

    Happy hunting!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
